Building Digital Resilience in Lithuanian Journalism: Digital Media Literacy II

Building Digital Resilience in Lithuanian Journalism: Digital Media Literacy II

(15-16 August 2020)

When CRI first launched the project “Building Digital Resilience in Lithuanian Journalism: Digital Media Literacy” back in 2019, there were three times more participants than we could accommodate. The huge interest that the Project received proved the topicality of the subject.

CRI has managed to earn a good reputation and a number of journalists that came as participants in 2019 suggested organizing similar trainings in their home regions, which tend to have problems with digital literacy skills. The follow-up project took place this year, which aimed to cause long-lasting digital resilience effects amongst the Lithuanian journalist community, but also amongst the broader society. Top Lithuanian disinfo experts, journalists, NGO workers, and government officials all shared their experience and gave their best tips during an exciting and engaging weekend.
