Building Digital Resilience in Rural Local Communities

Building Digital Resilience in Rural Local Communities

(August/September 2020)

The main aim of this project was to increase the digital media literacy skills of senior citizens from Lithuanian regions with a high percentage of national minorities. Lithuania has a tech-savvy population, especially the young generation, but the digital literacy skills in the countryside are sometimes not as prevalent.

The specific objective of this project was to organize a series of 12 trainings in several local communities in Lithuania, which have the highest national minorities living there and the influence of Russian media has reached the highest level. The project had a strong focus on EU-related propaganda.
