Chinese and Russian Disinformation Efforts in Lithuania and Taiwan

In cooperation with partners, the Taiwan Foundation for Democracy (TFD), CRI has prepared a comparative analysis research paper on Russian and Chinese disinformation.

In the paper, Konstantinas Andrijauskas, Associate Professor of Asian International Relations at the Institute of International Relations

and Political Science, Vilnius University (Lithuania), and CRI experts analyzed the similarities, challenges, and differences of Russian and Chinese disinformation and best practices to fight it.

The idea is to compare and contrast the methods and tactics of the two aggressive authoritarian countries and to look for the best tactics and approaches in fighting it. However, as Russia and China are becoming more aggressive, team CRI thinks it is high time to start filling these knowledge gaps.
